MUSIC FOR PEACE

Ambassador & World Chairman; International Human Rights Commission, Dr. Muhammad Shahid Amin Khan, Ambassador & Executive Director; World Peace Mission Organization Mrs. Asra Khan & AKS Creatives is pleased to announce an Event for the Cause Music for Peace on the eve of United Nations Day.
VISION:
The Music for Peace initiative is a coalition of organizations, charities and people who have banded together to help bring “Peace & Harmony” to our world. Through the universal language of music and their respective and collective visions and purposes, the Music for Peace will make a difference in today’s violent world.
Humanitarian charities will be campaign recipients. We want to bring the hope that one day we will be able to transform our violent history. We want to create the platform for the youth and give them the possibility to raise awareness that non-violence is something functional and not just a fun dream.

NEED OF MUSIC FOR PEACE:
When we rise in the morning and listen to the radio or read the newspaper, we are confronted with the same sad news: violence, crime, wars, and disasters. I cannot recall a single day without a report of something terrible happening somewhere. Even in these modern times it is clear that one's precious life is not safe. No former generation has had to experience so much bad news as we face today; this constant awareness of fear and tension should make any sensitive and compassionate person question seriously the progress of our modern world.
EVENT DATE & TIME:
“Friendship of Peace & Music for Peace & Humanity Concert” will be on 21st September 2013 to mark the importance of World Peace Day starts in evening at 21:00 Hours. Where the International Singers across the world join hands together and sings with one voice one song;
"We are the World”.
They will also perform songs of their languages in this Grand International Concert.
